Never mind "the best camera is the one you have with you", sometimes the best view is the one from your kitchen table, watching the driving rain with a nice cup of tea. Actually, it's not a bad view under any circumstances.
And, yes, I know the overlapping frames don't match. I like it that way.

A lot of folks in the US retire to sunny weather locals, but having lived for 35 years in an incessantly sunny area, Southern Arizona, I am envious of the your rain. Like too much of anything, continuous blues skies can get boring. I guess that's the photographer in me talking.

Famous quote about Britain: "Britain does not have a climate, it only has weather". And, boy, do we have weather... Especially at this time of year when anything could happen tomorrow (or later today), from snow and hail to endless rain to blazing sunshine. I love it!
